• 100 % of AAA/SABCS  students who auditioned for Region Band made either All-County, Region, All-State,  or Garcia Youth Orchestra.

• Sarah R made 2nd chair All-State Band flute;  1st chair All-State orchestra flute

• Elliott T  made All-State alternate bassoon

• AAA/SABCS performed at the following places:

• The band made it second recording for Channel 12 and 26 Sounds of the Season program, and the picture of our band students was used as the background picture for the TV  commercial. 

• DJ Spence and Jacob O played in the Tuba Christmas at Hopeland Gardens and had a great time. 

Band Family:

• Several students have made important decisions to follow Jesus!

• The Richardson family was voted the Best Christmas Caroling family by the WAFJ listeners.  Samuel and Sarah arranged the piece, the entire family sang, and Sarah played the flute!!

Graduate:

• Micah McNamee is excelling on trumpet and piano at Newberry College.

• Sara Wittenborn is excelling on alto sax at USCA. 

• DJ Spence has completed several sessions of instrument repair in Colorado Springs. 

• Christopher Morgan is writing music for professional musicians in Orlando. 

• James Rochester and Maggie Davisson marched with the Gamecock Band in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and at the Citrus Bowl.

• Isaac Parks sells his compositions over the internet. 

• Isaac, DJ, and Sara all perform with the Aiken Concert Band.
