Instrument Rental Policy
Students are required to obtain their own instrument for use in the AAA Band. It is recommended that students rent rather than purchase initially. There are several local music stores that can assist in obtaining a suitable instrument, including:
Pecknel Music: contact Will Graybill 803-799-6860 or wgraybill@pecknelmusic.com
Kirkwood’s Music: 706-863-1542, www.kirkwoodsmusic.com
Mrs. Rollins has some instruments for rent for AAA Band students. The cost is $10.00 per month or $100.00 per year (if paid in full at the beginning of the year).
Conditions of rental:
1. Responsibility for all needed repairs during rental period.
2. Have the instrument checked over by a reputable music dealer before returning it and pay for any necessary repairs. Any repairs needed will be an additional cost to the students renting the instrument.
Note: make sure to rent or purchase instruments from a reputable music dealer. Many repairmen will not service off-brand instruments because of their poor materials.
