AAA Band 2026-2027 Schedule
Weekly Ensemble Rehearsals will meet on Monday afternoons in
Room 125 of the Etherredge Center on the USCA Campus
340 Scholar Loop, Aiken, SC 29801
Rehearsal Times:
4:15pm- Beginner Band
5:30pm- Intermediate Band
6:45pm- Advanced Band
Weekly private lessons will be arranged directly with instructor

Monday, August 17- First Rehearsal
Monday, September 7- LABOR DAY- NO REHEARSALS
Monday, November 23- THANKSGIVING WEEK- NO REHEARSALS
Monday, December 7 – FINAL REHEARSAL of Fall Semester
Tuesday, December 8 – CHRISTMAS CONCERT
Monday, January 4, 2027- First Rehearsal of Spring Semester
Monday, January 18- MLK DAY- NO REHEARSALS
Monday, February 15- PRESIDENTS’ DAY- NO REHEARSALS
Monday, April 5- MASTERS WEEK/SPRING BREAK- NO REHEARSALS
Monday, May 10 – FINAL REHEARSAL SPRING SEMESTER
Friday, May 14 – SPRING CONCERT
August 2-5, 2027 BAND CAMP (9am – 4pm each day, location TBA)
Culminating with final concert and potluck social
Monday, August 16- First rehearsals of 2027-2028 Season
Performances
Christmas Concert - December 8 – all students (required concert)
Breezy Hill December Concert – December 11 (Parent volunteers needed)
All-State tryouts – Select students (Jan-Feb)1 (Parent volunteers needed)
a. To qualify for the first year’s All-State audition, students must have completed page 27 in Habits book 1 and have all the scales memorized one octave by October 1.
b. Exceptions are for flutes and clarinets: They must complete all of Habits book 1 and have 5 of their 7 All-State scales memorized in 2 octaves by October 1.
All-State Performances (Feb-March) (Parent volunteers needed)
Da Capo Band – Beginner Honor Students (April/May) (Parent volunteers needed)
Solo & Ensemble – select students (April/May) (Parent volunteers needed)
Spring Concert – Friday, May 14 (required concert)
AAA Band Camp: August 2 – 5 (9:00am – 4:00pm each day) Location TBA
Other possible performances by invitation. (Pre-region recital, pre-solo and ensemble recital).
